1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of buy2fix.co.uk and any purchase you make from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy, which form part of the contract between us.

2. Who we are

The site is operated by BUY2FIX (referred to as "we", "us", "our", or "Buy2fix").

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform we use to sell to you.

3. Eligibility

To place an order with us you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. By using the site, you confirm that this applies to you.

4. The website and our services

We provide this website and the products and services described on it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it will always be free of errors, interruptions, or technical issues.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site or our services at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you for any such change, except as required by law.

5. Products and accuracy

We make every effort to display our products accurately, including colours, images, specifications, and compatibility information. However, the way colours appear may differ depending on your device, and minor variations in product appearance can occur.

Most products on our site are high-quality aftermarket parts and accessories, compatible with the devices listed. Where a product is OEM or original, this is clearly stated on the product page. If a product is mislabelled or mis-described, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply (see Section 10).

We may correct errors, withdraw products, or limit availability at any time. If an error materially affects an order you have placed, we will contact you promptly and offer the option to confirm the corrected order or cancel for a full refund.

6. Orders and how the contract is formed

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email is an acknowledgement that we have received your order — it is not yet an acceptance.

The contract between us is formed when we dispatch your order (or, where applicable, when we send a dispatch confirmation email). Until that point, we may decline or cancel the order — for example if the item is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, if we suspect fraud, or if delivery to your address is not possible.

If we cancel an order before dispatch, we will refund any payment you have made in full.

7. Pricing, taxes, and import duties

Prices on the site are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where applicable. Shipping, taxes, and any applicable duties are shown at checkout before you confirm your order.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders we have already accepted.

8. Payment

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, including major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments and other regulated payment providers. We do not store your full card details.

If your payment is declined or reversed after dispatch, you remain liable for the order value and any reasonable recovery costs.

9. Your right to cancel (distance selling)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer based in the UK you have the right to cancel most orders within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. We voluntarily extend this period to 30 days — see our Refund Policy for full details, including how to start a return and what we refund.

Some items may be excluded from the right to cancel where permitted by law — for example, where a spare part has been fitted to a device and can no longer be returned as unused. The Refund Policy sets out these exceptions in detail.

10. Faulty goods and your statutory rights

If a product you buy from us is faulty, not as described, or unfit for its purpose, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These include the right to reject the goods within 30 days for a full refund, and the right to a repair, replacement, or refund where a fault appears later.

Our Refund Policy explains how to claim under these rights, including the simple video-only process for faulty items worth £25 or less. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Your account

If you create an account on the site, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for any activity that takes place on your account. Please contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

You agree to keep your account details accurate and up to date, including your email address and delivery address, so we can fulfil your orders.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site or our services:

  • for any unlawful purpose, or to facilitate any unlawful act
  • to violate any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction
  • to infringe our intellectual property rights or those of any third party
  • to harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any person
  • to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • to upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • to scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect data from the site without our permission
  • to interfere with the security or normal operation of the site

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time for breach of this section.

13. User comments and submissions

If you submit comments, reviews, suggestions, or other content to us — whether requested or unsolicited — you agree we may use, edit, publish, and distribute that content without restriction or compensation. You confirm that any content you submit is your own, does not infringe anyone's rights, and is not unlawful, offensive, or misleading. We may, but are not obliged to, monitor or remove submitted content.

14. Intellectual property

All content on the site — including text, images, logos, layout, and the BUY2FIX name — is owned by Buy2fix or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the site without our prior written permission.

15. Third-party links and tools

The site may link to third-party websites, products, or services. We do not control these and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Your use of any third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that third party's terms.

16. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law, including your non-excludable rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with any order or use of the site is limited to the price you paid for the relevant product. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, or loss of opportunity.

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, customs processing, natural events, industrial action, or government action.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Buy2fix against any reasonable claims, losses, or legal costs we incur as a direct result of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

18. Privacy

How we collect and use your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the "Last updated" date shown at the top. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention. Orders you have already placed will be governed by the version of the Terms in force at the time of your order.

20. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time if you breach these Terms. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that have already accrued, including any outstanding payment or any provision intended to survive termination (for example, sections on limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law).

21. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest will remain in full force and effect.

22. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy, set out the entire agreement between you and Buy2fix in relation to your use of the site and any purchases you make. They replace any previous agreements or communications on the same subject.

23. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK in which they live, where required by law.

24. Disputes and complaints

If you have a complaint or concern, please contact us first at sales@buy2fix.co.uk — we aim to resolve issues directly and quickly. If we cannot resolve a complaint to your satisfaction, you may be entitled to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) service. We will provide details of any ADR provider we are required to refer you to under applicable law.
