The charging board arrived in good time. Hardest part is removing the back panel. Had to use heat gun and metal praising tool but after very careful work it came off. Daughter board was easy to fit with instructions and works well.... Only issue is phone is no longer water proof

Thus cord is amazing, keeps the Status Ear Buds in place and when you bull them out and very easy to place in ears from sitting at the top of chest. The curvature and texture hold the ear buds when out nicely in place and very comfortable when in also. The downside is even though the round small cord by the attachment loop if left in place when you put them in the charging case keeps the case just open enough that the ear buds will activate and pair with your phone when in the case which is very frustrating. The then silicone loop that attaches your ear buds is so thin I highly doubt it will hold up to daily removal and reattachment. Because if this the cords are marginally useful, over priced and will not last in my
Opinion. The only way to make these cord useful would be to file the case so the cord doesn’t interfere with case closing sufficiently (and void any warranty) to allow earbud to stay disconnected from devise. I bought 2 at over $30, my money was waisted in my opinion as I will rarely use, and would not ever give to anyone.
The part is fine but it didnt fit my Audi even though mentioned all details before buying it. The connection wasn’t the same.
