1. GTS is a new generation diagnostic tool developed by Toyota Motor Corporation. Unlike the current diagnostic tool Intelligent Tester II, GTS is a PC-based diagnostic tool.
2. It consists of two components: GTS software and Vehicle Interface Module (VIM). GTS software is the core of the diagnostic tool, and VIM is the communication gateway between GTS software and the vehicle ECU. These components enable technicians to diagnose and reprogram vehicles.
3. GTS OTC Functions:
Windows-based software for Toyota/Lexus vehicles
Requires a Vehicle Interface Module (VIM) to connect to the vehicle
Supports older models from 1996 to 2015 with a DLC3 (OBDII) connector
Applies all Intelligent Tester II functions except oscilloscope and voltmeter
User-friendly GUI: easier to understand graphics, uses PC screen to display DTCs in all systems, etc. Larger data storage space than IT-II to save data lists, DTCs, etc.
4. Supported languages: English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Chinese
5. Note: Not suitable for trucks and 24V diesel vehicles
